I don't like how she's drawn. She lacks femininity. It's a matriarchy, after all.
I wouldn't say I like the Fury's artwork, but I find her physique quite logical, and you yourself mentioned the matriarchy. She's a warrior, not a supermodel, and should be an effective warrior, so there's nothing surprising about her powerful build; it's quite natural. Yes, her breastplate (although, as I see, Dark Elf units don't have a great love for clothing) does lean towards fanservice and looks rather silly (but a silly design is a problem with most of the armor in Heroes 6), but it's clearly not comparable to the Fury's outfit from the fifth game in the series. Although, it would have been better to give her normal clothes, I agree. And in general, a legitimate question arises: why does a female unit have to be beautiful? They are warriors, not supermodels.
