Regarding the supposed slowness of the Balts – it's the same stereotype as the one about Russians being drunkards and Black people being lazy.

It's not even a stereotype, it's more like...an element of jokes. If they speak slowly in Russian now, it's more of a show...as if they don't know this foreign language. :smile06: But in their native language, they speak like machine gunners...

In general, there are very few purely Russian people these days; there have been too many inbreeding marriages with Tatars, Germans, and Balts.

I agree that there are few purely Russian people...but what does inbreeding have to do with it? This is actually a term used...um...how to put it more gently...to refer to inbreeding in humans.
And after the USSR, it would be strange if Russians didn't assimilate all those nations that were part of the country. Moreover, the infrastructure was developed not only in Moscow, so people moved to work/live in various republics...

I can give many examples of genocide of Eastern Europeans by Russians. There have been many excesses in the relationship between Russia and Europe, both from one side and the other.

When I was in Slovakia, I was interested in how Slovaks feel about Russians in light of the fact that the USSR introduced troops into Czechoslovakia in 1968. So, no one there considers Russians to be monsters. "It was the government, politics, and not the Russians themselves," that's how they expressed themselves.
The more civilized a country is, the less likely it is to blame any nation, even if they caused a lot of trouble in the past.
