Removal of moderation privileges from inactive moderators.
Or maybe not even mention it. Zero moderation activity doesn't necessarily mean that the moderator doesn't visit the portal and isn't needed at all.
But it should be considered as a factor.
Here, a more selective approach is needed. IMHO. For example, WOG moderates LotR. Besides him, no one will definitely do it. What's the point in removing his moderator rights? Lux moderates mapmaking. Does anyone want to replace him?
If there's no point in having a moderator anyway, you can remove them from the section, as nothing will change. The positive aspect I see is that it will be easier to identify which sections are not being moderated after they are formally left without moderators.
