What skills should Necromancers take when facing Orcs on a very large map?
Well, actually, I think Termi is exaggerating. He is, of course, a strong Orc, I won't argue, I even lost to him. But it's interesting, in the game we played, I didn't see any special "tactics against the undead" (well, except for the dwarven artifacts, but that's a must-have for such a situation), on the contrary, the undead were very effective. Termi, if it's not too much trouble, could you share a couple of replays where you effectively counter the undead?
As for Argat and the "noob with 10 liches," I don't quite agree. It will still be difficult to intercept them. As for the first move of the warlords, you probably just haven't encountered "keen mind." And after the warlords are subdued, goblins can easily be among the first to fall. And in general, there are many options here, you can choose depending on the situation.
Yes, and let's be fair, you probably just haven't encountered this tactic yet, I haven't used it against you personally, but I could have.
The game we played isn't the late game that we're talking about, but in that battle, there really wasn't anything special, I didn't have to use any trump cards, everything went easily, and I didn't have any dwarven artifacts! I have replays, and there are many of them (Orc vs. Necromancer is a great combination), why should I show them to you? I'd rather suggest that we play a game, and we'll post the replay here! In fact, many people think, and I probably thought so at first, that there's nothing an Orc can do against a good Necromancer, but that's not true. My experience shows the opposite; the poor Necromancer has nothing left to do but slowly crumble. Many experienced players who play as undead were surprised at the end of the battle! So, if you want to play, I'm not against it!:smile03:
