I had an interesting, but not very pleasant dream last night.
Basically, a group of people, including myself, and also people from real life and the internet, were heading somewhere from somewhere, but they were carrying things, backpacks, as if they were fleeing from something. We were walking on the ground, I don't remember what was around, but we stopped at a small hill, or rather, you know the Griffin's Peak from Heroes 4? It was something like that, only much smaller, maybe up to the second floor in height, and there was a dry tree on it. We stopped because it was getting dark. The sky was dark, but everything else was clearly visible (the hill, the belongings, the tree). It might have been some kind of desert, because I didn't see anything big, only the ground, the dark sky, and the dark horizon. Not even a horizon, just darkness, beyond the peak there was nothing, something like a void. And in general, this place seemed unreal, the hill and the ground... they were like models or bad computer graphics.
So, we started setting up camp, or rather, the others were doing something, and I just stood next to the hill and looked at it. I didn't even look back and didn't see anyone, except for those who were standing nearby. I think I talked to them a little. Then, blackout. After that, some kind of commotion started, and two small children were being dragged away by rats, or maybe one was dragged away before, and this was the second one. And I, along with those who were next to me, started hitting these rats. They were crawling up the hill, we were hitting them with sticks and boards that we found on the ground. In general, we seemed to have driven them away, but there were no more rats to be seen. Then, another blackout. The next thing I remember, I'm in the same place, but already in some kind of room, which is at the hill. It was like a room in some old bunker, maybe it was even the only room, because the street was visible through the passages, and the same brown ground, or maybe the rooms were just standing next to each other, without any connection between them, or only the roof was common. And again, the rats were attacking! But there were more of them now, and they were crawling from all sides, from all corners, even from above. They were attacking, jumping on people, and crawling into their mouths! After that, the people passed out, most likely they died, and these rats were crawling out of them (either from their stomachs or from their mouths). The rats were fast and of a decent size. The room I was in was double (like an entrance hall and a living room, but the view was good, everything was visible). In the "entrance hall" sat familiar people from the internet, and they were already out of it, but for some reason I believed that they could wake up (apparently not everyone died). I stood next to them and hit the rats with a board as they crawled into the room. I was crushing them, because one hit wasn't enough. The rats turned into a bloody mess. No insides, no bones, just blood and pieces of skin. I killed them, and then I went into the "living room." Three strangers were sitting at the table, and there was food on the table. Suddenly, rats appeared and ran towards them. Two jumped on the guys (one on one, the other on the other), and these guys just sat there and did nothing. They were like zombies. I ran up to the first guy, and I see a rat wriggling in his throat. I took it and started choking him, in order to squeeze and kill the rat. Because it would crawl out of him later and could attack me. I managed to kill it, it stopped wriggling, and only its tail was sticking out of this guy's mouth. After that, I immediately rushed to the second one and, with the same anger, began to choke him, but here it had crawled too deep, and I missed it. For a moment, I stopped and started thinking about what to do next. I wanted to leave, but I didn't want to abandon my comrades. I hoped that they would come to their senses. Fear overwhelmed me. I don't know what I was more afraid of, the rats or the fact that I was left alone in this dangerous place. I didn't want to fight anymore... and I woke up.
It was a cool dream. I don't have dreams like that very often. It's a little bit like the one where I and my friend were running around the city, running away from zombies.
P.S. Rats, I hate you! xD
It's a pity to delete my dream, so I'll make a quote
