Moreover, in the first game there was an extremely negative moment: it seemed like everything was going great for me, I had built up perfectly with my signature Barbarian and took my native secondary creatures, when suddenly, out of nowhere, in the middle of the second week, the opponent suggests playing the match to 1 victory instead of 2. I prudently refuse, and as it turned out, he had a Pandora's box with 60!! of his shooters lying by his Castle, and in addition, a Conservatory, a Hive, and a teleport right next to me. He was already standing there with this whole set at the exit of the teleport, clearly knowing the outcome, and since my situation should have inspired optimism in me, he made such a "noble" offer. And in the second game, I was beaten without a chance by very high-quality play from the opponent, completely unlike what was seen in the seasonal. Immediately after these games, I developed a strong suspicion that I was playing against vitalic back then, or if it was Vigo himself, then under his guidance. What's most interesting is that the winner of our pair in the quarterfinals faced... vitalic! And Vigo, after passing me, announced in the thread that he was forfeiting to vitalic without playing, as he did not consider himself entitled to play against his teacher. More than strange reasoning if this isn't just handing the win to the person who put him there. But naturally, I had no proof; I couldn't claim such a thing without evidence. But it turns out others are sure of similar things, so most likely my impressions back then were correct.
