Time is money, or are you going to waste it?

The time limit is chosen to suit the player's preferred style of play (in a season). Some people enjoy simply watching the units for 4 minutes, while others spend the full 10 minutes executing moves – it's all relative (the question is whether they could do it in 6 or 8 minutes). There have been situations where a complex/thought-provoking move took until the last seconds, and in the end, the player had to repeat that very move – it took 1-2 minutes (as if without rushing, but also so that the opponent wouldn't have to wait longer than necessary).
I doubt that the time limit will be reduced. I wrote something similar when it was changed from 6 minutes to 8 minutes – and what was the result?
Solution: there are plenty of players – find opponents who are willing to play by your "rules," and if you want to test your skills against someone, be prepared to tolerate not only 10 minutes per turn :D
