Yes, history is a tricky subject. I personally believe that history shouldn't involve evaluations. It should only contain facts and explanations of patterns. Otherwise, it becomes completely incomprehensible.

No matter how you look at it, it ends up being confusing... history is a subjective science... we will never know exactly how things were in the past, because different people perceive the same fact differently, and historians are no exception... and history wasn't written by just one person...
