Regarding match-fixing agreements.
Yes, agreements happen in almost every tournament with groups or a Swiss system. The organizers are absolutely powerless to influence this. It's impossible to forbid, force people to play / play at full strength. Even if the organizer sits and watches the stream, there's nothing easier than, after all resets, to throw the game and surrender. Any bans and rules will lead to deception, and that's even worse.
But there is a remedy for players - you just need to win all your games, then no agreements will stop you.

Specifically - Group P.
Let's take VanjaM - GoedenDag 1-0 (technical).
Options for OUTLAW - darkello:
- 0-1 - darkello advances from 1st place, OUTLAW from 2nd;
- 0.5-0.5 - OUTLAW advances from 1st place, darkello from 2nd;
- 1-0 - OUTLAW advances from 1st place; Oelm, VanjaM, darkello each get 2 points with the same KB - 2.
Head-to-head results also give nothing. The next criterion - technical wins, VanjaM loses out here with a technical win from GoedenDag, i.e. this agreement is precisely disadvantageous for VanjaM. Then the head-to-head meeting is already in favor of Oelm, and it is he who advances from 2nd place. VanjaM needed to play and win against GoedenDag; then these three players would have ended up in tiebreaker games.
The first option is disadvantageous for OUTLAW, the last for darkello, so it's completely natural that they chose a draw.
I repeat, the organizers can in no way influence this or similar situations.

Next, my favorite Group J.
The replacement of PlayHeroes_HP Fortress -> Belqzaniq was made on October 17.
Right away I was informed that some players had complaints against him, and he is banned on WCL.
Why is he banned? I have no information from Sag-; the complaints are not stated in Belqzaniq's profile; the only explanation I managed to obtain is account cloning. Belqzaniq himself explained this to me as having forgotten his password. For creating a clone on WCL, I cannot disqualify a player from the tournament on HW. There are clones galore there. We don't even disqualify our own clones (you yourselves saw directly in Favorites Herosna and RomaN, also a forgotten password). And in the season, one of our players even played under 4 accounts.
The next complaint - in his opponent's stream, it was visible how he threw the game, and then he said his internet went down. Well, and I personally had this happen in this tournament - I saw with my own eyes how my opponent threw the game on ГО, then he disappeared from ICQ, and then he said his power flickered. And strangely enough, I believe him 100%.
If anyone has proper evidence of unfair play, please submit it to me in a private message, I will pass the facts on to the AC (groundless accusations of unfair play on the forum are prohibited; all such cases are handled by the AC in a closed section; otherwise, enormous damage may be done to the reputation of an innocent person). And the words "one player said", "I was tipped off and told" I cannot attach to the case.

Now, what happened in this group.
Alone tipped me off and asked me to contact Belqzaniq. We got in touch via Hamachi.
The stream viewers discovered Belqzaniq's use of the Objects.txt text file. Yes, I looked at the saves, indeed, it was there. Alone received a technical win. Belqzaniq deleted the text file, said he used it out of ignorance, and apologized.
Nestor86 had no problems. They got in touch, played, Nestor86 was the host. I specifically asked Nestor86 about complaints - no, there were no complaints.
And a month and a half later, after the group stage had already ended, it turns out that there are problems with an agreement for games involving Javdet and kalababa. Well, where were you before? Why didn't you contact me? I never had any problems contacting him. I would have set a time, tracked player attendance. But as it is now - whether we're waiting on ICQ, or Skype, or the VK chat, well, I communicated with him on Facebook, watched a piece of his stream of the game with Javdet. Well, you need to do everything in a timely and civilized manner. Roman and Sergey, you are not beginners; do you really need to be taught how to behave in such cases?
He is Bulgarian, participating in a tournament for the first time, his English and Russian are zero, his sense of humor is peculiar, I've been communicating with him for about a year and I barely understand him.
He doesn't speak Russian? Inadequacy? Smileys? Postponements? None of this is stipulated in our rules. Roman, what can I do for you? Ban him from chatting with you?

Overall, there are very many complaints from players about the difficulty of agreeing on a game time during the tournament. And this concerns not only Belqzaniq. If we were to disqualify a player from the tournament for every such complaint, 1/4 of our players would be out immediately. Not everyone "knows how" to negotiate, especially our newcomers and newcomers to our forum, who came from other resources. I won't point fingers.

In every tournament I write: "inform me about problems." If I have no information from you, or to my question "how are things?" I get the answer "dunno", then I can't do anything.

In connection with the fact that the situation in Group J is very complicated, and it needs to be resolved, I propose the simplest solution - try to finish the game Javdet - Belqzaniq.
