And with the skill, they become Dire Wasps. In theory, an elf doesn't need anything but light. And here, you're adding summoning. It's the same as giving an elf darkness and arguing that it will be good, because there's no point in either summoning or darkness.
And it's nonsense to remove the enchanted ballista and enchanted arrow from the elf. Why are you doing that?
