I’m sure that it [replayable Quick Combat] is universally used to avoid spending magic in battles, not to lose an angel in the Griffin Conservatory (and if I go up to even a Tier 3, Quick Combat will lose even with 10 angels), not to get tricked by neutrals, and so on.
Well, where’s the logic then? All these tasks, in the absence of replayable Quick Combat, are easily solved by conducting the battle manually, with the corresponding time investment.
If you want to play fast — download the latest version and don’t show off.
If that were enough, no one would have said a word. But the opponent also needs to download the latest version and not show off. That’s harder to achieve.
Blinded by a fierce idea, you fail to see the banal difficulties with game balance
Replayable Quick Combat affects balance far less than fast army management, for example.
