That's the point – both should use it, and there should be some other feature included that does a lot of other things besides just auto-battling. Moreover, the auto-battle can be with or without mana. I don't want to bother with such things; I have my favorite replayable auto-battle without mana, regardless of the opponent's version; nothing else is needed.
