As far as I know, this is not new information. They are collecting stem cells and trying to create kidneys, lungs, and brains from them... In the Netherlands, they are using a similar method to synthesize beef. And in Japan, they have been developing a technique for several years that allows them to "activate" the production of stem cells in the body of an adult.
