The game turned out to be drawn-out, the spawn was decent, the roadways were average, with a fork before the castle. On the huge respawn, I spotted 2 Griffin Conservatories, a Dragon Fly Hive, a Dragon Utopia, an external dwelling of Wyverns, a few peasants, and 2 Gnolls, boots of speed, a sword +6. Since I couldn't find a quick path to the opponent, I decided to clear the respawn. In the first week, I collected external dwellings and built the Citadel, spent the second week gathering, since the opponent still hadn't been found. On day 132, I take a 4-stack Conservatory, then right away 2-stack and 3-stack, Taz levels up excellently: tactics, earth, air. With 9 Angels, I run to the nearest treasure zone and clear it in 3 days. Useful loot: a sword +5 to stats, Titan's Cuirass from a tier-3 Dragon Utopia, 2 Dragon Fly Hives for 6 and 8 Wyverns, a 5k gold chest, gloves of speed, and a quest artifact for which the main hero's hut gave 50 earth elementals. I immediately recall home and take my native Dragon Utopia; inside it gave the key to victory: book of air and a hat for 5th level. Roger's main hero is spotted; he took the Dragon Fly Hive and, not noticing the Conservatory just below, ran back into the underground center. I run there too after taking that single-stack Conservatory. The underground has several passages, unclear where to go; I send scout heroes, emerge with my main to the green opponent, kill him, and run into the opponent's zone spotted by a scout, after replenishing mana. I take the main, and with air magic I see 2 of the opponent's castles and several heroes at each. I decide Rissa is wandering near the treasure zone, run there, and I'm wrong — she jumps out of a one-way portal from the other side and runs to her main. Chain allowed me to recall back to Tower; I await the attack. After some deliberation, Rissa attacks; there's a lot of meat, but I have better stats plus no orb or cloak, and after an implosion for -24 ducks, a surrender occurs. GG, thanks for the game.
The spawn was always messed up; I chose all resets. In the last generation, red and blue were directly connected through zones 19 and 22, bypassing the native opponents.
In the first week, I got greedy and built Angels in the castle, ended up doing nothing all of week two, and that's why I lost. I was exactly one week behind in tempo: when Tazar was taking Dragon Utopias, Rissa was still just collecting Dragon Fly Hives. Every turn change, I wanted to type GG, I disliked how I played that much. But then, as luck would have it, a thought came to mind: if the opponent needs a win, let them come and kill me. The reds weren't in a hurry, and Rissa managed to catch up to Tazik in both level and meat. But the opponent got control and stats from the Dragon Utopias, while I got: a Black Pearl and a Captain's Hat.
The map wasn't fully cleared, and I could have kept running, but I was already tired of this match. We played it over 5 sessions.
