Why should the rating take into account the popularity of the Tournament? It reflects the skill in Heroes. Why should a player from a less popular Tournament have a lower rating if, for example, he plays very well and completes the same starting save, but in a different Tournament, much better than the leader from a popular Tournament?
What difference does it make if 5 people played a map or 10? For a specific player in my system, it doesn't matter how many people played - because it doesn't affect his result. What matters is that he completes the map as quickly as possible. And each player's rating depends only on how close his result is to the leader's result, which, in my opinion, is fair.
You can take into account the prestige of the Tournament by summing the prize grail amounts. And I've said it a hundred times, my rating has nothing to do with grails or the prestige of the Tournament and practically excludes any additional parameters that distort the assessment of a player's real skill in Heroes.
