Oh, the bait has been set :) I'm ready to participate if everything goes well. 8 people are enough - 1 person per faction (each will play 7 games) - a kind of fun, themed blitz tournament. The fact that some factions will be stronger is not a big deal; it depends on skill and luck, and you can always "compare strengths" in the current tournament on the league.
Eight people can get together without any official organizations, discuss everything among themselves, and have fun playing each other. We shouldn't forget that the resource is publicly available, and discriminatory tournaments that restrict someone's participation for any reason are wrong. In principle, this also applies to Nooma's idea of organizing a tournament for exactly 16 people, taking into account the rating of a friendly, but not decisive, resource. Therefore, any suggestions for the structure of new tournaments are undoubtedly useful and needed, but I repeat, the tournaments should be publicly accessible.
