My opinion of games is 80% based on the first impression. When I first launched the fourth game, I didn't like anything about it... Then... the opinion formed during the first impression didn't change.

Probably, this is true; I have a similar attitude towards the fifth game and Heroes of Might and Magic. And Might and Magic didn't quite work out. But the fourth game somehow clicked, although not immediately. But when playing on autopilot stopped working, I had to study the details – it turned out that the game was even more interesting than it seemed at first.

The point is that there are many games, and people, choosing by the name "HoMM4," bought exactly HoMM4, and not something else, reworked, different from the first parts.

After the third game, I saw the announcement of the fifth game, and I didn't like it. It was too different from the third game and previous versions. After that, I bought the fourth game – it turned out to be exactly what I needed.

What does this have to do with it? The fox wanted the grapes and still wants them, even if it pretends otherwise, while the fools spat and went back to upgrading the same creatures, denouncing the product.

Exactly. They couldn't try it (didn't figure out the game) – so, in their opinion, the game is garbage.
