A THREAD FOR NEWCOMERS!

GoedenDag gave you excellent advice. It's a great game setup, but it's easier to take not the .iso image, but just 4 separate files – you don't need to install them. But the main problem is probably with Windows 7 – you need to enable compatibility with Windows 98, and maybe something else will interfere. Don't forget that Heroes 3 was created for Windows 98. I've been using XP, and I haven't had any problems. I understand that the problem is with Windows 7, but what should I do? I've tried going into the properties of the heroes3.exe file, going to compatibility, and setting it to Windows XP Service Pack 3. There are also Service Pack 2 and Windows 98/ME options, but I haven't tried them yet. I think the result will be the same. I've also tried setting the task (Heroes 3) in the Task Manager to run on only one core, but the result is the same. Also, when I minimize the window using Shift+F4, it minimizes normally, but when I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open the Task Manager, a window like this pops up: What could this be?
