Mestear slept soundly and peacefully that night, so much so that the other residents became worried about her – and for good reason; it seems this sleep was forced upon her. Something similar happened to Amko; he remained unconscious throughout the night. Unlike the others, Arandor spent the night in the elder's house, where he received not only a warm welcome but also protection.

A blinding ray of moonlight fell on WhiteLizard's face when he felt a heavy growl and a desire to kill behind him. Several sharp claws tore through his belly, and after a few moments, his soul began to leave his body... But this did not happen. The attacker left the scene while his victim's wounds quickly healed. A sly smile appeared on the wrinkled face in the darkness.

Early in the night, a large man burst into Xostor's dwelling and immediately attacked its inhabitant. A strong blow from a heavy club left Xostor with no choice, and in the morning, he woke up inside a suspended cage.

Meanwhile, the first person in town humbly knelt before his new mistress.
