A THREAD FOR NEWCOMERS!

What the heck!!!....I reinstalled Bookin's version after deleting WOG and HotA (I'm still dreaming of completing all the Campaigns, as I always had buggy versions), and it started kicking me out of it... I thought I deleted everything (I uninstalled HotA and then deleted the entire Heroes folder along with WOG, since there's no uninstaller in it)... I installed just Bookin's version without anything else, even without the Russian language pack, because minor text errors and omissions don't bother me, although I haven't even seen them in the first two missions of the first (Elven) Campaign... Still, it kicked me out about 30 times... mostly when loading maps, during battles, during a turn, when opening something (mage towers or castles, etc.... and it doesn't just kick me out, but the sound or music suddenly stops!!! ta-ta-ta-ta-ta.... like a record skipping on the last sound, the picture freezes, and the game doesn't respond... I have to constantly close it through the Task Manager and restart it, hoping to play for at least 20-30 minutes before the next crash... luckily, it sometimes saves before crashing(((....so please help me with possible solutions, what could be causing this... maybe I need to clean the registry or revert Windows to XP or... in short, SOS!!!
