Help with the patches, please! Heroes 5, version 1.0, licensed copy. The manufacturer is unclear – the disc says Nival and Ubisoft. I'm installing the cumulative patch 1.6 from the Heroes Community website. During installation, it initially complains about the game being incorrectly installed, then it works on the second try without any errors, but it's completely unclear whether the patch was applied or not. When loading the game, the version 1.0 is still displayed in the bottom left corner. Does this mean the patch didn't install? How can I tell, and if the patch didn't install, what should I do?
