Four other players are playing along with my role, while the rest are divided and shouting "go to Us1," "go to Us2," "think for yourself," but I want to go to Us3.

It seems like we're talking about different games. I'm talking about the ones on Hv. In half of the cases, any reveal will check for a block; in the other half, it will reveal role characteristics or the same notes. There are few opportunities where a reveal will actually work, and even those are based solely on the inactivity of most players.

Where it's more complex: Doctor's serum, Commissioner's check, Sheriff's shot, Mana's shot, voting.

Shots are a post-mortem check; what does that have to do with it? Are you going to deny that there are roles in psychology that are easy to reveal?
