A tough game, a treacherous template, a bold opponent.
Dwellings of unicorns and druids, one treasure chest on starting, adjacent zones were poor, lacked money. From day two I went Talanar, from the start of week two Anwen with unicorns and regen, by the end of week two two heroes cleared 3 adjacent zones, but had enough money only for building.
From week 3 I ran Wynn, gave him an army after trading for resources and immediately sent him via portal to the center, from second level he rose to 18 in a few days and at the end of week 3 we met a warlock, opponent lost half the hydras, I lost archers and half the unicorns, hurt me more, but drove the warlock away from my native secondary town.
Then Wynn went looking for treasure zone, but no such luck, broke through a bunch of portals, found two more secondary towns, but neither treasure zone nor treasure vaults, in the whole game found only one grove among strong treasure vaults. Light magic was not given until level 21, so the pace was slow. The ordeal ended suddenly, a warlock flew out of the Guardian Object and the next day attacked Wynn, the warlock's battle stats were higher than the elf's, spell power close to 30, but the elf got lucky, luck, curses, the warlock managed to cast twice, but didn't have time to retreat.

I was going slowly myself. Sinitar was delayed in the adjacent zone, where there was a decent number of Dwarf Cottages/crypts, only broke into the center in the middle of week 3. In parallel, I sent Irbet to another one - but in that entire adjacent zone - only one Dwarf Cottage and no more crypts or gargoyles either. In the center, Sinya saw only 2 crypts before meeting the enemy. So I was also short on money. Buying artifacts from the shop was out of the question. Irbet ended up being only level 10. Having spent almost all resources, I bought hydras and witches and went to hit the Guardian Object. Hundreds of yellow ents and hundreds of knights (along with Isabel's knights) on my side went through relatively smoothly. The opponent at the Guardian Object had hundreds of monks and hundreds of unicorns. Struggled with the monks, they roughed me up a bit, the unicorns went through smoothly. Didn't make it from the Guardian Object to the castle in 1 day. In the final battle, the warlock hit hard, but luck 3, which worked almost like absolute luck, didn't allow him to escape in time. Well, fortune favors the strongest:)
