Rating is good, but I think the game itself is more important here. You can watch saves of other players' games hundreds of times, even if they are super players, but it's not comparable to analyzing your own game against a strong opponent, looking for ways to compensate even if, at first glance, the map generator "played a trick" against you – that's invaluable experience. I would gladly play even in a group where there is no chance of winning at a given level of my game. Good luck! :)
