I am 1000% sure that any "dad" is interested in having as many top-level players as possible, so that the overall level of players increases and grows, because they, the "dads," are definitely interested in playing against strong opponents. Victories in such games are twice as meaningful, and defeats hurt their gaming pride even more. So, if you organize a tournament with two brackets - advanced and beginners, you can attract the "dads" to the tournament as mentors. For example, a "dad" takes patronage over 1 or 2 beginners (depending on the number of participants), conducts training sparring sessions with them, sharing experience, giving advice, and generally preparing his protégé for a sparring match with another beginner, who is being trained by another "dad." Ultimately, the games in this bracket will become not just a clash of lambs, but a competition of schools of skill. The idea is a bit rough, but as an option, it is quite viable and feasible, if there is a desire.
