How did you spend the holiday?

My New Year started on the 30th... After drinking all night on the 30th, I barely slept during the day on the 31st, then headed to a friend's place. I called him as soon as I arrived at the bus stop; he (already quite drunk), seeing me on the opposite side of the street, started screaming across the whole road: "Buddy! I'm here!" There was no TV in that apartment, so they had to lug one over from another house, and it wasn't turned on until 23.50. No one listened to the President's address; at least we didn't miss the phrase: "Happy New Year!". Then we listened to a tape recorder, and since there were three "music lovers," we switched between Trofim, Maksim, and club music. In the morning, the Maksim disc got ruined (it plays halfway through and then stops), so the owner played it three more times, unable to believe it was broken... :smile32: As for decorations, there were three spruce branches wrapped in tinsel, one garland, and a Father Frost hat with flashing lights that went out after 5 minutes; everyone took turns wearing that hat. The best part was there were two twin girls; I only found out the next morning that there were two of them... :smile03: And another thing—I celebrated in apartment 31..
