It's almost like saying "Santa Claus doesn't exist."
Tuomas has been my favorite character since childhood, and I still believed that he reads all the letters. And answers them. Every single one.
I imagined him tying his braids in a knot, putting on his glasses, sitting down at his desk, turning on his desk lamp, carefully placing his elbows on the table, and writing a reply to a fan in neat, beautiful handwriting, humming "the carpenter."
