The path to the game folder is D:\Games\Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Tribes of the East, is that correct?

The patch was downloaded from "Heroic Corner".
NoCD: replacing the executable file (for version 3.0, I couldn't find one for 3.1), it might be the problem.
The auto-updater displays:
"Could not find update version information. Please reinstall the sample
Missing URLs
Missing version targets"
The disc is a gold edition, and there are no bugs with it.
