We could give everyone a rating equal to the last place in Impossible mode. Or not count it at all.
1. Not counting it at all - If we don't count it at all, it might offend someone, and VDV and I will break our promise (we said we would calculate for everyone - it's another matter that the "normal" players might demand that they be removed, as they didn't know about the coefficients in advance).
2. Setting it to the level of the last place in Impossible mode - why, if even with those coefficients, they don't all take the last places, and some of them even outperform some from Impossible mode with the coefficients.
Regarding the system - I meant which option will be adopted as the main one at the start? Non-linear or oscillator?
So, VDV, where did you go? Therefore, I will post the preliminary results of the current rating myself.
What is the purpose?
1. "Normal" players may demand to be removed from the table. The rest, look and check, maybe you will find an error in the calculations :) The formulas are in the corresponding branch of this topic.
In my system, only one thing has been changed: the leader now receives a maximum of 100 points for the tournament, instead of 50. Everything else remains the same.
2. AmberSoler, please take a look at how I formatted everything there, and in a similar style, or even better, do the calculation for your system at least once and post it here too, you promised me templates.
3. In our system, we will flexibly age the rating; it will be allowed to skip 1-2 tournaments without aging the rating. For now, the aging remains the same at 33%. Let me know the aging policy in your system (% aging, if any, and bonus, if any).
4. Request to VDV - find a way to publish the rating tables in your topic in a readable form, rather than by uploading files, if possible.
