In my opinion, the idea of the tournament is to determine which castle is the very best, and not to see who among the players is better at playing as Rampart.

I think you're wrong. Everyone intuitively understands which castles are strong. The original idea of the tournament was to play with your favorite castle, which is constantly being excluded. Hence the name "favorites." If this tournament had a good prize pool, we would see a completely different lineup, and it would be unlikely to make it so that there would be no repetition of castles in the groups.

This is just my IMHO, and the point is that there is nothing wrong with playing with the same castles.

There were just 2 fewer Ramparts in the playoffs, but otherwise everything is fine.

It's better for them to be eliminated this way than for them all to make it to the playoffs. :D
