Adv (Gilraen Elves) lost to Igrok- -76 (Dread Necropolis) in week 4.
We met in a game with a rival; I attacked and won. The opponent didn't have any knights or dragons, and I didn't have any ghosts or dragons either. The blades under the Gilraen were doing wonders, but flesh prevailed. Thanks for the game.
Turns 1-2, Gilraen was moving quickly. In the hut, there was light; in the castle, there was removal, word, and vengeance. On the map, I found antimagic and resurrection. I upgraded storm and mass removal, obtained some good artifacts, and bought a staff with -20 in the mini-treasure.
In the middle of turn 4, with level 25, I retreated home because I saw that the Necropolis was crawling around the treasure. On turns 1-4-7, I broke through to the Guardian and stayed there, tempted by the tree and level-up bonuses. I was just one level short of retribution, and that's where I made a mistake.
On the same day, the undead with a lot of flesh emerged and attacked. I didn't have some of the knives, all the dragons, and the horns, but even this army gave the Necropolis a good beating. The opponent got lucky and caught me at the right time. On turn 5, the Necropolis wouldn't have had a chance. Thanks for the game.
