THAT'S IT! I suggested that you should uninstall the game and install patches from 1.1 to 1.5.2, and not install 1.7 and 1.7.1.

I had a problem with saves starting with patch 1.5, or even 1.3. Moreover, I reinstalled the game after a long break, and it didn't even launch at first. I need to uninstall that stupid Uplay and then reinstall it. As a result, the game launched, but it doesn't save anything. Moreover, it seems to only happen in campaigns; at least one save in single-player worked.
