Are these just patches 1.7 and 1.7.1, or are they some kind of updated versions?

I didn't understand your question. These are the official patches for the Russian version from Ubisoft. It is recommended to install 1.7 on top of 1.5.2, and 1.7.1 on top of 1.7.
