I had the same problem. Reinstall the game on drive C.
The main thing is to consider the lack of Cyrillic characters everywhere (file name, path to the game, etc.), the correct location of the necessary files, the total length of paths and names. A different folder name for the game and its location do not matter if addressed correctly (I constantly rename and copy mine - everything works very well)
And if there is a difficult-to-solve bug, there is always a way out - just reinstall the game following the rules described above.
