Just make sure to calculate both options! That is, calculate what would happen if only the first coefficient were used in both tournaments.

And conduct one more small experiment: let's assume that a very strong player X (instead of Dmitry) participated in the BB tournament and completed the map in 3 days. Put the number 3 in the table instead of 36. And see what such a layout does to your first rating.
And as for why the second component of the rating is needed... we will discuss that later.
