This is a team tournament, as everyone knows. Each team has a group of players who compete against a similar group of players from the opposing team. The number of players is odd, so the pre-obtained advantage in the competition, although it is a demotivating factor, carries the ideology and the goal of organizing the tournament, which will be promoted in every possible way during its course.

If, knowing the approximate strength of two teams, you can roughly determine that you can win 4 out of 6 games, then in team matches, winning 3-0 can lead to losing 2-1 and having the same number of points with a different number of individual wins! THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF THE ENTIRE TEAM GAME! IT IS NOT INDIVIDUAL MATCHES THAT MATTER, BUT TEAM RESULTS IN MATCHES!

If it's so hard to understand, let me explain: the meaning of each team competition is to determine TWO winning players out of THREE matches, which will give the team an overall victory!

Regarding "unnecessary games," I can say the following: these games are necessary! Yes, there will be games that will not affect the standings, BUT it is in these games that you can see the players (people) who take the games seriously, demonstrate certain qualities, etc. For the organizer, not only are the raw numbers important, but also "demonstration performances" that show other aspects of the player!

Ask yourself why, for example, in artistic gymnastics, an athlete who has fallen from the bar and dislocated some part of his body gets up and, knowing that he will be last, jumps onto it and finishes his program? He is LAST, but he is working for the future...

And finally, when considering the awarding of points, there were different ideas, and no one voiced the desired idea about this, so it will be kept to himself, and I hope (depending on the number of players) it will be adopted in the next or subsequent tournament!
