I'm afraid, Morning, that you're mistaken. Let me point out your error more specifically:

The players had a piece of bread snatched right out of their throats and were kicked back into the corner of the cage, while Heaven... Heaven simply turned out to be a convenient tool that happened to be at hand, and not a Person with their own feelings and thoughts.

Is that really the case? After all, this isn't the first Heaven mafia that has been cut short in the middle, only to disappear into the unknown. It's not surprising that this mafia, like "Animal Wars," was completely destroyed, because whoever is guilty of this scheme doesn't want any traces left behind that could lead to their discovery. Someone might say that the fact that this is the second Heaven mafia to be interrupted is just a coincidence. I'll just remind you that in approximately 20 mafias, this hasn't happened with ANY of the GMs. Coincidence? Let each person find the answer to this question for themselves. I, for one, have already found it.
