Yes, 2.98 allows you to see MP when playing against SoD, where these very MP cannot be seen. This is unfair (much more unfair than having fast standard actions). But if everyone agrees with this unfairness, please return the display of movement points with any opponent)

An example is a replayable quick battle without magic, which, in my opinion, gives no advantages, but in RC6 cannot be used against an opponent without a mod.

Another example would be (or will be?) a "correct" quick battle, rigidly tied to ImprovedGameplay as a whole. In this case, if I need to play SoD with an opponent who does not have the latest version of the mod, I must convince him before the game not only to install/update the mod, but also to tell him about the "correct" quick battle and convince him to play with it, otherwise I will have to play without ImprovedGameplay and TournamentExtensions.

Regarding the display of moves in 2.98, I agree, there is an advantage with strict limits. At the same time, with large limits (foreigners generally like unlimited), you can count the moves yourself, spending your own and the opponent's time. In general, the issue is ambiguous, and I did not object to moving this function to TournamentExtensions.
