Captain, more details: are the archers positioned at the top or bottom? Do the gargoyles fly towards the eagles or to their own corner? Of course, I tried the standard tactic right away, if that's what you meant (archers are positioned in the top corner, a single unit immediately flies forward-downward, so that it only reaches the 2nd stack of eagles, the rest fly forward on the 2nd turn to delay the other stacks + slow every turn).
