I think that if there’s a way to fix the quick battle so that its results are adequate, it would be better to do so! Otherwise, it seems that the current situation is as follows: strong players use it only to save time, while weaker players are likely to abuse it – and, as has already been said, by using quick battle, a beginner may remain a beginner forever and never learn how to fight! Of course, it would be better to make the fixed quick battle optional: players can decide for themselves whether to use this fix or not.
