Which hero is the best in the Tribes of the East expansion?

What is so special about the enhanced "dark ritual" that it is only effective against demons? :o In my opinion, this specialization is very relevant on maps with a small number of resource nodes, for example, on randomly generated maps... Regarding the Warrior of the North - what about Waishan, Irvana, Sorgal, and Erin?
