Player rating for tournaments across all installments of Heroes.
That's exactly what it is – the average rating of all players. And what percentage of them are the strongest? That's why I'm saying that dividing the average rating of the strongest by the average rating of all players... We'll get a number that's just a little over 1. This will be the parameter, and the higher it is, the stronger the players in the tournament... It's simple for mathematicians :)
Well, it's simple for mathematicians, but not for me. Remember, the VDV requirement was simplicity, and that suited me – I quickly came up with a formula – one divided by the other, but I understood then and still understand that it's not complete. I agree with your calculation. I think you'll bring it into a proper form, but if they ask me to calculate it, then I'll need a table in Excel from you, in case I can't do it. I somehow managed to cram my simple formula in there. :)

We don't assign 0 for participation in the tournament, even if the calculation results in 0.05. The minimum is 1.
Ah, I understand, that's a given. If you participated, you should get at least something.
I calculated the rating using this simple formula, and the worst result, even with a coefficient of 1.75 (against the opponent), gave a rating of 2 something.
