It needs to be created (if there are no scripts), and it can be created either manually or through an editor. But the most cheating way is to copy both files (lua and xdb) from another map. It's better to do this to be sure about the encoding.

I'll have to wait until the option to reinstall the game appears.

I should have thought of manually entering the path. Everything is fine now.
