Because the path doesn't lead to the lua file itself, but to the xdb file, which contains a link to the lua file.

MapScript.xdb:

MapScript.xdb is located in the folder
D:\GAMES\HMM5MP2\Editor\H5MMods\myMap\Maps\Multiplayer\myMap?
but it's not there for me ><
