First of all, I didn't intend to discuss anything with you. I asked a direct question.
Secondly,
we will have different points of view, let's take the entire Heroes of Might and Magic community with its different points of view, let's take the entire rest of the world with its own. And everyone will be right in their own way.
You are somewhat idealistically assessing the world and yourself. There aren't that many truly worthwhile points of view. There is a percentage of people who talk nonsense, and there are those who accept other people's points of view. An example of nonsense is your statement about the narrowness of the Heroes of Might and Magic community.
If you remove all the unnecessary words you wrote, I see two main ideas.
1. Universal consolidation is clearly a positive phenomenon.
2. A single international ranking will attract strong players.
Both statements are incorrect. Competition between different versions, structures, and variety in general has always benefited society. At least, it leads to some kind of natural selection. The popularity of various inter-portal platforms is not about some kind of consolidation; in fact, it hasn't really succeeded. It's about testing which development is better. The rest is nonsense.
Regarding the ranking: a ranking itself usually attracts "hardcore" players, which doesn't necessarily relate to skill. Good players are attracted either by battles with worthy opponents (which a single ranking has nothing to do with), or by some kind of material incentive, which is even further away.
