31.07.2012 Piterius (blue, Castle, Valeska, Klavius) def twaryna (red, Rampart, Mephala, Mephala), Mininosta, 217
Alexander took rest 113, while I chose all the singles but in the end the second level was never built even once:(. The start was okay, without any major blocks, there was an external dwelling of archers, I quickly killed the Conflux (only pixies were built there:rolleyes:), but I messed up with the buildings - one day I didn't have enough money, another day I didn't have enough time - in the end I only had 1,2,4 in the Citadel on the first week.. a nightmare. If it weren't for the weakly guarded external dwelling of horses, I don't know what I would have fought with later.
On the second week I kill the Fortress computer, I capture at his respawn 2 external dwellings of gnolls and basilisks, at home on the respawn I take 2 external dwellings of monks, I spin the chains persistently on Dwarf Cottages and Medusa shrines - angels appeared in the Castle. Well, that couldn't help but make me happy. At the Conflux respawn I spotted a Dragon Utopia. But there is a problem - daddy isn't determined yet. Experience is spread across heroes - from the promising ones: Klavius level 3, Kalt level 4, Valya level 5, Grecha level 9:). Who would have known that Klavius would eventually become the father?:)
On the third week I barely defeat the Dungeon computer (their cap is already there), near it there is a tier 3 Griffin Conservatory and I capture their village - also Dungeon. Grecha level 16 is holed up there, while Klavius is only level 11, he fought through to 137 to the Dragon Utopia - it's max, I'm waiting for reinforcements. Yes, I already found a tasty item - a Tome of Air.
On 141 the Dragon Utopia is broken, I lose 14 Wyverns in it, I spent money on buying incorrectly, in the end there wasn't enough for the power stack, and I didn't trade resources, I really wanted to build Town Portal faster (the guild in Conflux yielded no results, I started building in Dungeon - and there it also turned out to be empty:(). In the Dragon Utopia they gave a Sentinel's Shield, a Titan's Cuirass, +3 to all and something else..
142 Klava and Grecha are standing near the Guardian Object of Archangels:cool:. The Guardian Object is 10-19 Archangels, the center turned out to be extremely scarce! I take two Dragon Fly Hives and run into the opponent's Guardian Object - 10-19 Black Dragons. I don't attack because there is no Town Portal, I won't be able to control it, and moreover the scouting shows that the red army is stronger!!
144 I break into the Conflux, take a Dragon Utopia there, also with Klava, they give +5 to all, a Chupa-Chups, red boots and a Sphere of Permanence.
145 Mephala beats the Black Dragons, revealing a scythe-load of Skeletons and a horde of Demons:mad:. Here I must admit that I didn't pay attention to skeleton-making, giving preference to Temple - dad and mom had Log, I had boots, and necromancy just distracts, doesn't let me focus on the main thing, and a couple thousand skeletons don't always decide things. So I just dismissed all the raised skeletons so they wouldn't get underfoot)
Seeing Mephala, Klava sits down with the power stack in the main, Grecha ran around the stat booster structures. Until the very end I couldn't decide who would give battle to Mephala, only a test fight could decide, but I couldn't manage to test until later)
146 Mephala smoked in the center and headed back home, I only had the option of invading the Inferno's treasure zone on enemy territory. Scouting showed no activity there, and the amount of goodies per square decimeter was off the charts. The only sad thing was that I couldn't send both of my fighters there at once.
211 I take a Dragon Utopia there, again with Klava - the choice fell on her to clear out this treasure zone, the only tasty thing there was the Wings. Grecha, meanwhile, cleans out the Dungeon treasure zone - eats a Pandora's Box with all the land, and has Town Portal!
212 Klava takes a village - also Dungeon, Grecha portals there and from that moment the power stacking went twice as fast.
213 Grecha kills an enemy scout hero intending to develop this tasty territory, meanwhile Klava makes a sortie into the snowy enemy treasure zone. There is only 1 Dragon Fly Hive there and there is a chance of getting beaten, so I get out of there.
214 I find the Gloves, some kind of empty day, there were more maneuvers, and since it was already night, we decided to save.
215 Revenge for the scout was swift, the reds occupy my main, and not with the main hero, but through the scout, whom I didn't bother to kill because I was busy capturing the Gloves..
In the remaining three days I finish clearing the dark corners of the treasure zone, every night I camp in the swamp so they won't take it back, I want to upgrade the Wyverns, but damn, when I gathered them all there were 117 of them, and even trading everything down to zero I didn't have enough money to upgrade them...
Mephala, meanwhile, was doing God knows what, instead of aggression she was apparently also flying somewhere to power stack and also spent every night in the Castle.
On 217 I couldn't stand it and attacked, first checking with a scout hero for the presence of the red orb [Sphere of Permanence], it wasn't there, mana was a little over 100 units. The conclusion was obvious, my territory was all eaten, I had more meat for now and I couldn't delay, time was working against me. I attack with Klava because she has 27 spellpower vs 21 for Grecha.
Klavius 14-31-27-(400) offense, defense, archery, earth, air, has KO [Crystal of Power?], earth boost, implosion and meteor shower, red boots
9 Archangels, 25 Champions, 117 Wyverns, 63 Basilisks, 34 Crusaders, 45 Monks, 131 Marksmen
Mephala 28-24-21-(116) offense, defense, tactics, earth, has КЗ and КО
12 Devils, 11 Efreet Sultans, 40 Wyverns, 18 Pit Lords, 193 Greater Demons, 42 Elves, 750 Greater Skeletons
The opponent on tactics covers the ears with Demons, Pits and Skeletons. I shower them with Meteor Shower - no resistance, good. There is anti-magic on the [untranslatable: goats?]. In the second round I blow the Skeletons to zero, they shower me with Armageddon, my Marksmen, Wyverns and Basilisks resist it, double good! Then my Wyverns get anti-magic and the ending was crowned by a duel between the two surviving stacks - Wyverns and Demons.
Thanks for the game!
1-0
ps: saves only up to 216, since I attacked already 4 seconds before the time ran out..
ps2: the most useless stack in the game - Crusaders, they were useless during the game and in the battle - they valiantly died under Armageddon..
I confirm. The start was difficult, but I gradually got going. I went with Aislin, captured the Citadel, then Necromancer (no power boost), on the second week Inferno, whose hero gave me a good thrashing. In Inferno there was excellent building and an external dwelling of Devils. I started churning out Demons, went into the Citadel treasure zone on the dirt terrain, took a Dragon Utopia, switched to Mephala. On the 4th week I went into the Necromancer treasure zone, took a Dragon Utopia there, at that time I saw Piterius breaking through the Guardian Object. And here I made the biggest mistake in the game. I got scared of something and retreated home, although I should have just continued clearing out that treasure zone. As a result, when I returned there, I took 2 Dragon Fly Hives and КЗ, Piterius took the max Dragon Fly Hive right from under my nose. Also in that treasure zone there were many more Dragon Fly Hives. Had I cleared that treasure zone in time, I would have had the advantage in meat in the final battle and my chances of winning would have been significantly higher.
08.08.2012 Piterius (red, Castle, Valeska, Tamika) def twaryna (blue, Fortress, Tazar, Tazar), Mininosta, 227
A long, tedious game, in which it seemed to me that nothing was working out, and this despite impressive stats and a decent power stack, finally ended thanks to an opponent's mistake.
It took so long because I could not find Town Portal anywhere, without which it made no sense to go on the assault. In the end I was only able to build it on 221 in the sixth town!!! Not in the third or fourth, but only six built guilds allowed me to get Town Portal!!! :smile18:
In the beginning everything went well - horses in the Castle on the first week with an external dwelling of archers, on the second week an external dwelling of monks and angels and they were also in the Citadel. I killed the computer opponents synchronously, the only difference was that I had a bit more space (the save from the last day shows a clear division of territory).
141 was marked by the growth of 5 old beaaars, which the opponent had foresightedly built:smile54:. It became scary, if there is an external dwelling there too, then it would be a big deal. Despite having four Necromancer heroes, the scouting persistently showed the blue power stack was stronger..
I broke only two Dragon Utopias in the whole game, they only gave stat bonuses, I found a Tome of Air and maneuvered somehow until 221. With the arrival of Town Portal I managed to gather everything together, meanwhile the blues began to slowly capture my towns. I planned to attack on 231, but Tazar, having grabbed another village (which was at a reasonable distance), powered up in it and forgot to put on the Chupa-Chups, the Speed Cloak and some stats. The mistake was fatal, the annihilation was one-sided; otherwise, everything would have been exactly the opposite. 3300 skeletons at speed 5 would never have caught 170 Wyvern Monarchs at speed 15.
Thanks for the game!
2-0.
Again a difficult start, trouble with money, but Tazar leveled up excellently. I quickly captured Dungeon, which gave me a bit of trouble. In the middle of the week I spotted an external dwelling of Wyverns in the corner of the respawn + nearby: a Naga Bank, 2 Dwarf Cottages and a Dragon Fly Hive. On 117, with great difficulty, I took the external dwelling of Wyverns. Then everything turned upside down. I power leveled further, took the Dwarf Cottage and the max Naga Bank, the Dragon Fly Hive with a scout hero in another part of the respawn and another Dragon Fly Hive with Tazar, and by 123 I had 30 Wyverns and a lot of money. Then I killed the Citadel computer and used a scout hero on the Conflux. I went into the treasure zone, where I spent all of week 3, gathered a good stack of Wyverns, found the red orb [Sphere of Permanence], but had no control. Then I beat the Guardian Object, took 2 Dragon Utopias in the center, they gave me the 5th level hat [Admiral's Hat]. With it I Dimension Doored into a mega-tasty part of Piterius's treasure zone - 3 Dragon Fly Hives, 2 Griffin Conservatories, a University. Later I captured his main and proceeded to power stack. The game was completely in my hands; killing Tazar with 150, and by the end almost 200 upgraded Wyverns, with the red orb [Sphere of Permanence] and +4 speed was impossible if the opponent had attacked. Also a big power stack of Archangels. I spent the whole game collecting the Armor of the Damned. From week 3 I had everything except the helmet [Crown of the Supreme Magi], which I searched for the whole game (there were no good stat artifacts, hence the drastic difference in stats). I used Dimension Door and Town Portal the whole game, never forgetting to swap artifacts. And at 5 AM I made a strange move and forgot to re-equip artifacts for the first time in the game. And I gave away a winning game. And when I loaded the save to check the situation, I checked the external market, which I was one move short of reaching with my scout hero the turn before. And there I saw the helmet... I felt like smashing my monitor :)
In both games I lacked experience, but I am satisfied with the game. Thanks for the game and the experience! And good luck in the future!
