I think that each installment of Heroes should have its own separate rating, distinct from the other installments. Comparing players across different Heroes games within the same tournament will inevitably be inaccurate. The only exception could be a separate tournament specifically designed to identify the most versatile player, much like the "Van Caningham" tournament, which was conceived with that goal in mind.
