I don't really like the idea of tying points to participants... For example, I had 10 people playing Heroes 2, and VDV had 20+ people playing Heroes 3... I think this is a perfectly reasonable reflection of the games' popularity, and it's not worth burdening the organizers with this problem, as they already have enough on their plate.
Please don't compare them... These are not comparable things...
And when summarizing the results in the overall standings, this can be taken into account differently. For example, a coefficient can be introduced for the calculation. This will only need to be done once and will not be difficult.
Or maybe I'm not seeing the ultimate goal of the tournament yet? Do you want to see during the tournament who is stronger - a player who plays Heroes 1 + Heroes 3 compared to a player who only plays Heroes 4??? But that's impossible... I don't think you'll argue with that... You probably wouldn't be interested in seeing yourself in the tournament table among participants who haven't played your map and don't even know your version of the game...
Or, for example, if we consider the calculation mechanism from top to bottom, then the last place in any tournament in Heroes 2 will be awarded more points than the last place in Heroes 3... Again, due to the different number of participants. How do you compare?
