Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is not included in Windows XP, even with SP3! This is absolutely true, because I have a new computer with Windows XP SP3 pre-installed, and, for example, to make ProspectorRT (and another program) work, I had to find, download, and install Framework 2.0.
For some reason, there's always a fly in the ointment. Program developers should remember that not all users have the latest versions of operating systems and applications installed.
Personally, I don't see any problem – just update (install) it, what's so difficult about that?
