Even if a maniac uses ARMAGEDDON!, it doesn't necessarily mean that EVERYONE will die. It's possible that no one will die at all; it's just a damn lottery.

The chance that no one will die from the spell is 1/256. Exactly the same as the chance that everyone will die at once, lol.
If it were just you and me, that would be a real lottery with 4 different outcomes.
